“A Truly Amazing Nurse – Hope”

I am so grateful to have had Hope as my nurse during the birth of my baby. She was absolutely amazing from the moment she started caring for me. She was so kind, patient, soothing, and genuinely compassionate, which made such a big difference during such an emotional and overwhelming time.

After giving birth, I was struggling with a very colicky baby, and Hope was incredibly supportive and reassuring. She took the time to help me understand what my baby needed, comforted both of us, and never made me feel like I was asking too many questions or being overwhelmed. Her calm presence was truly comforting.

Our relationship continued after we left the hospital when Hope became our baby nurse and provided newborn care for us at home for several weeks. Having someone I already knew and trusted caring for my baby during those early weeks was such a comfort. Her experience, patience, and calm presence helped me feel more confident as a new mother, and it was reassuring to know that both my baby and I were in such caring hands.

Hope is the kind of nurse you never forget. She went above and beyond to make my experience more comfortable and positive, and I will always be thankful for the care she gave me and my baby. She is truly exceptional at what she does, and any mother would be lucky to have her by her side.

“More Than a Doula, She Became Family”

It is almost impossible for me to put into words what Hope means to me and my family because calling her a nurse, a doula, or even a friend somehow feels too small. Hope has a huge piece of my heart and always will.

I met Hope during one of the most difficult and vulnerable times of my life. I was pregnant with my daughter and admitted to the hospital for over a month. During that time the hospital became my home and Hope became family. Hope's care for me went so far beyond her job. Even when she was assigned to another floor, she would still find a way to come check on me. She sat with me, shared stories with me, gave me advice that I still carry with me today, comforted me, and loved me through a time when I so desperately needed it and I could never thank her enough. When my daughter was born Hope continued to care for us and checked on my girl in the NICU to let me know she was okay. I don’t think she will ever fully understand what that meant to me in my darkest days. In moments when I felt completely helpless, she gave me comfort and peace.

Our relationship didn't end when I left the hospital. We stayed close, and years later, when I became pregnant with my son, Hope was right there again. She checked on me throughout my pregnancy and offered to be my doula without asking for anything in return. That is simply who she is.

She came to the hospital on her days off to see me and when it was finally time for me to be induced, she came in on her day off yet again just to be there for me.

Just after my son was born, Hope ended up being my nurse for the next two days. The woman who had cared for my daughter and me during my first pregnancy was now caring for my son and I and even gave him his very first bath. That is a memory I will cherish forever.

There are people you meet who are simply doing their job, and then there are people like Hope, she cares for you because caring for people is genuinely part of who she is. She shows up when she doesn’t have to. She advocates for you when you don't know how to yourself. She remembers you. She checks on you. She loves you and your babies, and in the most vulnerable moments of your life, she makes you feel safe.

I would recommend Hope endlessly as a doula, baby nurse, and caregiver, but more than anything what you should know is that you're not just picking a doula, you are picking family. I don't think I could have dreamt of a better person to be by my side and that would love and care for me and my babies the way she did. I am truly blessed to have met her.

Hope, you have been there for the births of both of my babies and for so many of the moments in between. You have cared for me through the scariest chapter of my life and I am so grateful for you. You started as my nurse and along the way became family. There will never be enough words to thank you for everything you have done for me and my babies. I will carry the love you have shown my family with me for the rest of my life.

Any mother lucky enough to stumble across Hope and be cared for by her is getting so much more than just a doula or nurse. They are getting her heart and from my experience that is something incredibly special to get.

“A Lifesaver for Our Family”

I met Hope at White Plains Hospital, where she was one of the nurse techs caring for me and my baby after my C-section. She mentioned that she also worked as a baby nurse, and I tucked her card away. I'm so glad I did.

Our baby nurse fell through the day we came home from the hospital. I was recovering from surgery with a newborn and a toddler under 2, and in those first days you really need an extra set of experienced, professional hands. One truly rough night without help, I texted Hope. She came right away, with no notice at all, and stayed with us through the nights for about a week until we found someone permanent.

She has such a warm, gentle way about her. Our baby girl clearly took to her calm energy, and honestly, so did I. Knowing Hope was there overnight meant I could actually sleep and heal, which after a C-section is everything.

She was a lifesaver, and truly a ray of hope for our family at a moment when we badly needed one. If you're considering having her support you, don't hesitate.

“She Gave Me Hope When I Needed It Most”

Hope was truly the light in what was otherwise an incredibly difficult and traumatic birth experience for me.

After a grueling 20 hours of labor, I was physically and emotionally exhausted. My experience in the labor room had left me feeling scared, unheard, and defeated. There was a point when both my baby's heart rate and mine dropped, and I genuinely feared for our lives. I only wish Hope had been in the room with me during labor, but at that point, I hadn't had the privilege of meeting her yet.

Hope became my aftercare nurse, and from the moment I met her, there was something so comforting about her. She was incredibly kind, patient, attentive, and knowledgeable. With all of her experience with mothers and babies, she gave me so much advice that I carried with me long after I left the hospital.

More importantly, she made me feel seen. I didn't feel like just another woman who had given birth or another patient on her shift. She treated me like a person who had just been through something incredibly difficult and needed kindness, reassurance, and support.

After my labor experience, I felt so defeated and unsure of myself as a brand new mother. It almost feels fitting that her name is Hope, because that is exactly what she gave me when I needed it most. Her words stayed with me as I navigated that overwhelming first year of motherhood, and I can genuinely say she helped me get through some of those first-year trenches.

A year later, I still think about her kindness and the way she cared for me during such a vulnerable time in my life. Hope probably doesn't realize how much of an impact she made on me, but I will never forget her.

I appreciate her more than she will ever know, and I hope she understands that what she does goes far beyond simply caring for patients. Sometimes a nurse can completely change how someone remembers one of the hardest days of their life.

Thank you, Hope, for being exactly what your name says you are when I needed it most. ❤️

“Her Presence Made All the Difference”

I would like to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible care I received from my nurse during my five weeks in the hospital on bed rest while waiting to give birth.

Being in the hospital for such a long period was not easy, both physically and emotionally. However, her presence made such a meaningful difference in my experience. Every time she walked into my room, I felt comforted, supported, and cared for. She had a way of making me feel amazing, even on difficult days.

She listened to me, encouraged me, reassured me, and always made me feel that I was not alone. Her kindness, compassion, patience, and genuine care meant more to me than I can put into words.

Her positive energy and warm presence brought light to a very challenging time in my life. I will always remember how she made me feel safe, valued, and cared for during such an important and vulnerable moment.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did for me. I will always be grateful for you.
