Hope was never just my name. It became the way I chose to live.
I am a birth doula, a postpartum support specialist, and a Newborn Care Specialist. But more than that, I am someone who believes deeply that no family should ever feel alone during one of the most vulnerable, powerful, and life-changing moments of their lives.
My work is not about taking over. It is about standing beside you.
I created Circle of Hope because I saw a gap in care that no one was talking about openly. Families were being supported medically, but often not emotionally. Mothers were being monitored physically, but not held in their experience. Partners were present, but not always included in a meaningful way.
I wanted to change that.
Circle of Hope was built on a simple belief:
Support should feel like being held, not managed.
I believe birth is not just a medical event. It is a human experience.
It is emotional. It is spiritual. It is physical. It is deeply personal.
And because of that, it deserves care that reflects all of those layers.
My role isn’t to replace the people who love you. My role is to strengthen the circle around you.
That is where the name Circle of Hope comes from. It represents the idea that no one should walk into birth or postpartum alone. There should always be a circle of support, protection, and calm presence surrounding you.
Every family I work with is different, and so is every experience.
My support may include:
But beyond the practical care, I also offer something less tangible:
Presence. Calm. Reassurance. Continuity.
My role isn’t to replace the people who love you. My role is to strengthen the circle around you.
I do not separate my professional life from my understanding of family.
I am a mother. I understand what it means to love deeply, to worry deeply, and to want to do everything “right” for your child.
That lived experience shapes how I show up for every family I support.
This is not just my profession. It is my calling.
When I walk into a room, I bring calm.
When I support a family, I bring steadiness.
When I am present during birth or postpartum, I bring respect for your choices, your voice, and your experience.
This is your baby, your birth, your family, and your story.
I am simply here to support you as you live it.
At its core, Circle of Hope is about love.
Not just love for the baby, but love for the mother, the partner, the family, and the transition you are stepping into.
To be supported during this time is not a luxury.
It is an act of love.
I would be honored to walk beside you in it.
With warmth,
Hope Pierce
